The good news, eVGA is awesome and replaced my 6800ultra with a 7800GS CO.

The bad news, I can't water cool the 7800GS due to the fact that it uses a different sized mount.

Gah, I'm so... disheartened...

Time to learn how to solder and fabricate my own block for the 7800GS...

the mounting holes on the 6800/7800 are the same
you shouldnt have any issues

what block are you using?

No, the mounting for the 7800 AGP is different than the 7800 PCI-E versions, due to the necessity of the PCI-E to AGP bridge.

I was afraid this would happen.

Hehe cool,

If I were you I would stick to a simple "beehive" design. I made one for my 9800 last year and it worked pretty well. All it takes is 2x 1/2" Barbs, a Copper Cap, and a copper plate and you are set. Of course the tools are needed as well.

are the outside holes the same as the older-style nvidia standard holes??

the maze4 works with thoes holes too (what the little tabs on the outside of the block are for) if thats what the outer 7800GS mounting holes are like
