Still planning out my full wood tower and I'm trying to have as little metal as possible in this case. A big, bulky, metal PSU would be obscene looking in this all wood case. So does anyone know of anyone that makes wood PSUs or if PSUs get too hot for a wood enclosure?

Remember why the PSUs are metal/aluminium, because it conducts electricity to carry the earthed supply. You can try making a wood PSU but make sure that the whole thing from plug to the wood is earthed. Make sure there is a fan blowing out in it and maybe one sucking air into the PSU from inside the case...

Make sure you let the Capacitors discharge before you touch you can get a very nasty chock from the 200V Capacitors in there!!
Could be fatal...

the only reason there is a ground is to stop the case becoming live, since it is made of a instulato there is no problem of that and you dont need a ground

so basically just bolt the psu innards to the wood psu box and u should be ok.. not the fan setup!
