I bought my ASUS V7700 Geforce 2 GTS about 6 months ago and really haven't felt like putting alot of stress on it till lately. I going to buy a new Geforce 3 in a month or so. Today after playing with various drivers and having run Winxp for a week now i decided to up the timings on the card. I placed the timings at 218/410 and tweaked windows and the card a little. P4 is only a mild overclock at 1785. Here is my score of 4448 3dmark2001:
My Score of 4448 (http://gamershq.madonion.com/products/orb/?publish_compare.shtml?&project_type=6&dprid=1914367)

I compared my score to the other Geforce 2 cards and Radean 7500 and i think with a good overclock of my P4 i'll be in top 10 of those 2 cards. Kinda funny that my search has to include the Geforce Pro cards which clock higher and i'm able to beat most of them with P4's. I hope this old GTS card can get me to 5500 before i get rid of it.

UPDATE:

I stayed up till 5 AM installing by Dangerden waterblock and was anxious to see my new 3DMark2001 scores. I was able to run windows XP 1700@1955 MHZ but the OS would shut down any apps causing stress on the cpu. I managed to run @1904 MHZ and complete 3dmark2001. Video card timings were set to 218/410 (gpu/memory). Here are my new scores:
3DMark2001 new score of 4639 (http://gamershq.madonion.com/products/orb/?publish_compare.shtml?&project_type=6&dprid=1925915)

I'd like to make an update to my original prediction for a high score. As things are going now i don't see me getting this P4 1.7 GHZ too far past 2.0 with the cooling i have and only perdict a score around 4900 or so at 2.0 GHZ.

I was trying to give some hope to those people who can't afford a Geforce 3 card yet and not give up on those GTS cards by showing them it can do really well with benchmarks against higher priced ones. I paid close to $200 for it months ago and now it is worht around $80. Even when my next upgrades come up around the end of this year i may just keep it for a spare.

Check my sig out and also look at my processor. You have a faster processor....

Hmm once I get my lapped blue orb on just gotta get around to installing it and the heatsinks I think I can get a 250/500 setting and I should hopefully hit 4400...

ATI rocks baby and grab up an AMD LOL my 1.2 at 1.35 is on your P4 1.7 tail..... hehehehe
