Looks like EA took initiative and is setting some of their new games (The Godfather and Black) at $40 price point on release day. Whether it's in response to the publicized leak of "Black" to peer-to-peer I don't know. But lower prices = drives competition and sales, so I think we all win :)

Now if only 360 games would drop :bang head

Agreed. I hope it gets to the point of all games only costing about $20. That would be wonderful.

Hmm. Well usually when games are that cheap on launch they are not that good. I've heard good things about Black however.

Interesting. As for lower prices thats now always true. Theres a few games that came out this past year that have had the $40 tag and have been excellent games. Riddic is one of them.
