did i just order 4500 amd stickers???

i just received this email from amd
3 x Athlon PC Stickers 25 mm x 25 mm. Quantity per sticker (1000 per roll)
3 x Duron PC stickers 25 mm x 25 mm. Quantity per sticker (500 per roll)
if i look at this message it seems like they are going to send me 4500 stickers
i first ordered my stickers a couple of days ago ... but today i received an email and they said i had to go to this www.amd.com/uk/euroreseller/sticker.html url and order them overthere ... so i did ... but apparently i ordered a bit to much
am i going to have to pay for this? 4500 stickers ... thats a bit to much ... even for me ;)

Here is what my email from AMD said:

"Quantity: 1, Product: AMD224666A-RSLR: ATHLON BEZELS (STRIPS OF 7)"

I got 1 strip of 7 bezels. I only needed 3 or 4...

I hate to say this, but if you did in fact order that many, it is really wasteful, and could lead AMD to quit sending out free bezels and stuff.

Of course, it might mean that you only are going to get three individual bezels of each kind... My email was worded somewhat differently, as you can tell.

I suggest you reply to the message with the order # and clarify how many you want and tell them to cancel the order if it means you are getting 4500 bezels. They are neat, but nobody needs that many.

Just my thoughts...

Also i ordered some stickers i pikced 3 of each....

then i got an email and it said this on the bottom:

"The Order contained the Items listed below:
3 x Athlon PC Stickers 25 mm x 25 mm. Quantity per sticker (1000 per roll)
3 x Duron PC stickers 25 mm x 25 mm. Quantity per sticker (500 per roll)"


So i am gon'a get all these or just 3 of each...thx

Since two of you got the same email language, looks like it means that will only get three stickers instead of 3 rolls.

I just checked an old letter from AMD, it reads:-

Duron PC stickers (500 per roll quantity per sticker) 3

looks like you won't have to build all those extra PC's :)

Ok, I must be having serious problems reading what is on my screen, but I just tried to order some stickers and could not find the US under the country pull-down menu. Am I just stupid and missed it?

that page is meant for all the people that live outside the us and canada i think
i dont have the url of the page for the us but it should be easy to find

i got the same response when i ordered some athlon stickers, but they only sent the regular 3. they're pretty cool, but nowt amazing, just regular stickers. i don't know why they don't leave that 1000 stuff off. it's just confusing.

as for the no us on the list.. yep, it's for us auslanders. no idea where the us one is, though...

I managed to find my way to that page too. A while back, someone posted what was supposed to be the codes and I tried ordering some, but they never came:( . I figured, after seeing the non-us page, that there must be a sticker order form buried deep somewhere in the web site. we just need to find it somehow.
