Hey, I'm looking to build my own case. I figure I'll have to by the aluminum online, since Lowes is too expensive, and their selection is crap. I'll probably end up buying square tube, L-shaped angle bars, and some sheets. I've found some places on google, but I don't really trust anywhere that I haven't already heard of. Thanks guys!

http://www.mcmaster.com/ ?

I used to work for an industrial supply warehouse, and we got alot of general stuff from them and grainger. There are surely places with more selection and better pricing on aluminum stock, but you're not an approved reseller, and alot of them don't deal with small one time deals by joe schmoe :)

Yeah, I've been looking at mcmaster, I'll probably order from them unless someone can suggest someplace cheaper.

Find places that sell steel, and welding supplies. they will either have it or ba able to order. i build cars and get steel and aluminum all the time from my local steel shop.

They have lots of locations and will cut any peice down to the exact size you need. Not to mention you only pay for what you keep :D.

Plus they will proboly be local so you dont have to pay shipping.

Good call, Ad! There is one of them about 1.5 miles from me.
