First of all, Comp specs:
Pentium 4 Northwood 3.0ghz
abit IC7/IC7-G
1024 MBytes DDR-SDRam
Radeon 9800 pro
I am experience massive graphics lag in counter-strike source when textures or High Dynamic Range lighting is on, and on Battlefield 2 when textures is on high, dynamic shadows is on anything but low, and dynamic lighting is on anything but low. About a year ago, i used to be able to run Counter-strike source with everything on high, which is the reccomended setting for my computer, but without doing anything major, i can no longer. I also have tried reformatting about 2 times, reinstalling drivers including a 3rd party DNA driver for the Radeon, and reinstalling Direct X 9.0. On 3dmark2001 i scored a little more than 15k, but in 3dmark 2005, it is 15 FPS at the highest, and most of the time about 4-1 FPS, usually ending in an error stating that the driver has been lost. I would love any input, thanks.
