Uninstalling IE7 question?

Who has uninstalled IE7? How long did it take to uninstall? I'm trying to uninstall it because it screwed up my Mcafee virus scan and it is taking long to uninstall.......

I have Go to add/remove programs and make sure you check "Show Updates" at the top. Uninstalls easily.

Does not uninstall easily on my end. How long does it take to uninstall? I'm doing that right now and I'm on a half hour 'updating registry'

Stuck on 'updating registry' for 40 mins(for the second time)....Any ideas?
