The fusion HL kicks major ass. I put it on a new card - the x850XT PE. If the overdrive reading is correct, my load temp is 36C and idle is 28C. I can believe it though because the back of the card is cool to the touch, like it's not even powered up. Even at full load it's not warm on back.
I'll have pics later, but for now I'll just explain what I did. Instead of bolting the block directly to the card, I took the original support bar for the back of the card (used to apply pulling pressure to the stock heatsink) and drilled it to fit the bolts I used when I had the block on my 9800 pro/XT. Then I ran them through the bar on each end like the stock bolts would be done and bolted it to the fusion HL that way, tightening them down pretty good. I can't think of a better design for a 2-hole bolt down.
With the GPU hitting 36C load and the CPU hitting 44C full load, I'm very happy with my upgrades :D
Previous hardware:
neo2 platinum, 9800XT, 530w fortron
New:
neo4-f, x850XT PE, 560w silverstone zeus
Well worth the upgrade!
