I've been looking for a program to monitor the temps of my Lappy's cpu (see sig). I've tried loading speedfan which simply gave me an error message; The intel hardware monitor is incompatible with my chipset; PC wizard on the other hand is reporting temps that I'm sure are false. According to the utility my CPU was running at 31C w/ 0 rpm fan speed at 30% load. Now as much as I'd wish that Gateway somehow managed to engineer a laptop that could keep a Prescott at 31C w/ 0 rpm fan speed I figured this was incorrect.
Does anyone know of any utilities that could work?
