Do I have an Audigy 1 or 2?

How do I tell? I've had it so long and got it from a forum person so I don't even have a disk! I think it's a 2....but I don't know :/

Best way to tell is probably to pop out the card. It will either say Audigy1/2 on the card, or have a model number you could reference.

If you have the creative software installed? I know the creative console tells me I have an audigy2 ZS.

But as Bios24 said, the model number on the card should tell us pretty easily what card you have.

You shouldn't have to uninstall it- it should say what chipset it is in the 'sounds and audio devices properties' part of the Control Panel if it's installed.

It'll also be in the Device Manager under 'Sound, Video and game controllers'.
