.RMVB on Media Center

Does anyone know how to get a .RMVB (Real media player) file to play on a Media Center 2005 without transcoding? Right now Media Center won't even see these files when I try to play them under the My Videos thing. If there is no other way, are there any free .RMVB to .avi/.MPG transcoders?
