View Full Version : Assus V7700 deluxe or TV

hey folks, anyone here had any luck using the Assus v7700's addons under linux?

I have one with the Deluxe sulfix... have vr glasses and tv in/out. But i never was able to use any of it... every time i need to get some video footage to some project i have to use windows...

i've already hear of ppl usgin the video in of that card.

Apreciate any info

I remember the Elsa TNT cards only used the 3D glasses in Direct3D, so if the Asus is like that too, the glasses won't work in Linux.

I don't know how the TV stuff works with the Asus. The NVidia drivers as they are will do TVout. If Asus stuck a TV decoder chip on there so you could take in coax and rca input, and its a standard chip, there's a good chance it'd work.

Take a look at bttv (http://www.bytesex.org/bttv) for the TV stuff.
