I vant more, I vant more out of dis card! 7800gtx

No, I speak good English, I'm just bored :)

Anyway,

I'm would like to push my 7800gtx 256 more. I have just been using Coolbits, letting it autodetect best settings, then testing them, and leaving them there.

Where do I go from here?

(1) Flash the BIOS of the 7800gtx?

(2) Get it volt modded?

Or what?

My card is a MSI, and it's currently overclocked to 494/1.32 and my best 3D Mark 06 score has been 4704,

So where do I go from here? The 7900 doesn't look worth buying, so I'm going to wait until the 8800gtx probably :)

Watercool it, then voltmod it by reflashing the BIOS to 1.6V and you should be able to squeeze as much as 50 more MHZ out of that puppy. :cool:

i agree, but the hardmods are much better :)
