Great setup. I like the way that you mounted the reservoir.

Yeah but it needs a smaller bracket. The current one is just something I grabbed but I will make a custom one soon so you can see the entire reservoir...

It's great to see others CM Stackers with water cooling setups, I got to say that's a nice RIG you got going there. Looks great, clean and tiddy.

nice...could've utilized the front bays as a rad-mount witth fresh(er) air intake and less air restriction than through th ebottom grill (thats how I have it) but I only have room for one single drive.
nice job though

I have my rad bottom mounted as well and I get decent temps. I just couldn't give up all those drive bays.

I have been looking at sticking a twin 120mm rad on the bottom of my stacker ever since i got it but had never seen it done till now.
what have those that have this done about the size of the openning , mounting and air in or out ?

First off welcome. Second, I don't understand the first part of your question. If you clarify I will try to answer your question. As far as mounting goes I just have my rad laying on the grill at the bottom of the case. I have had it this way for about 5 months and it has never been a problem. I am using a dryer sheet as a filter and I get very little dust in the rad itself...most of the dust collects on the opposite side of the grill outside of the case. I just run my hand under the case every so often and remove the dust. I am pulling air into the case as far as the direction of flow is concerned.

have you made the oppening on the bottom of the case any wider ?
as its only about 90mm to start with or have you just left it the same size.

Mighty fine job!

Man, don't you just wish that they'd paint the inside of the stacker a different color? Black would be nice, or even white. Seems like all cases come with the insides painted in that hospital blue color. YUCK! The stacker is unique in that it has aluminum panels slapped onto a steel skeleton. All aluminum would have been better, and I hope they come out with one by the time I have to retire my current rig.

Once again, FANTASTIC build.

I had my BIX mounted up front on a 4-in-3 cage but it's actually MORE restricted that way due to the front plate grills. Now my BIX2 is at the bottom it can suck in cold air unobstructed.

No I simply removed the grille that was on it, and mounted the BIX2 on motherboard standoffs. Plenty of unobstructed airflow...

I didn't widen the hole...I didn't even bother to remove the grill. My rad is literally laying on the bottom of my stock stacker. I still get good temps in my personal opinion (41c full load/~25c ambient).

Wow, very clean setup. Definately like the res positioning!

if its outed on standoffs then wont it just suck in air round the edges aswell as form out side ?
either way youve convinced me it will work (been thinking of mouting a rad there for aggggess).

No cuz the edge is 'folded' upwards after you remove the grille. So when on standoffs it's almost level with the edge :)

I redid the reservoir bracket today and give it a 'professional' touch:

Oh wow, very clean, I love it. This makes me want to get a CM Stacker even more. If I cant find someone local that will cut the holes for a BIX2 then im definatly going to get one. Again, very well done.

That Looks Fantastic!! I am upgrading my system to dual core fx60 and want to put my Bix2 on the bottom. I am a little confused on how you mounted it. How did you remove the cage? Did youhave to cut the bottom? Thanks for any info.

what type and where did you get that res.? I been looking for something just about exactly like that.
I am looking at getting this case but would like to know if a triple 120 BIX fit in the bottom the same way?
