Unlocking XP tomorrow. Opinions wanted.

The conductive paint I ordered should be at my house tomorrow.
The 2 products I have to use to fill the pits before using the paint are:
1.Super glue.
2.Fingernail polish.

Which would be better or no difference?

just my $.02 but i'd go with the glue. For a couple reasons but the main one being it's been succesfuly done. Anyone hear of nail polish being used to fill the pits succesfuly? If you get lucky you'll get one with only slits instead of pits;)

Which would be better or no difference? I would go with the glue. Test it out for conductivity with a something that can detect even the weakest voltage. You just might have one that conducts so test it just to be safe. Nail polish when heated will get soft.

Guess the glue wins.
I have read at least 5 posts on other boards of people who used nail polish with success, but I agree heat might have a negative effect on it.
I have the trenches on my cpu.

i unlocked my xp with clear nail polish & a conductive pen before i even put it into my system.... it's been running since 10/22 with no problems at all with 9.5 - 12.5 avaliable. from what i understand the only part that gets hot is the core?? just my personal exp as of yet.

Well I did it.
Took me 3 tries before I got it unlocked right but it unlocked.
Sorry no pictures I don't own any macro lens camera's.
Running at 1705mhz 155X11 now.

cool. I think I'm going to unlock mine during Thanksgiving vacation. I'm also going to cut some more blowholes and make a fanbus and a baybus...
