I have a Cardex Ge Force 2 MX to start.

1. Is this a very good card or not?

2. The card came with software called Expertool. In the software it has a performance setting that I can adjust (core clock setting and memory clock setting). Is this an overclocking tool?

3. I see you guys talking about 3d benchmarking and fps. Where do i go to benchmark and find my fps?

Thats all for now but I'll probably remember more later

First is it a Mx200 or 400? They are both lower end geforce2's but they're fine cards. As far as benchmarking go to mad onion's site here (http://www.madonion.com). Download 3dMark2001(I also downloaded 2000 just for the fun of it). Run the program(s) and it tells you your score. FPS can be found through Quake3(Quake3 being the most popular). Bring up the game and type

/cg_drawFPS 1

then when you play the game or run the demo you see your FPS in the top right hand corner. Yes that program is an oc tool. It'll probably be the best for your card but try coolbits(my favorite), powerstrip, nvmax(i think that's what it's called), and riva tuner as well to find out which works best for you.

first you will have to tell us whether this card is an MX200 or 400 if it is an MX200, is not that good, ubt an MX400 is a decent card.....yes that is an overclocking tool, and go to www.madonion.com and download 3dmark2001....hope i answered any questions,....

edit: ahhh you beat me!!! :)

Well I got out the old box and looked and there is no 200 or 400. It only says MX. went into Sandra and looked and it only says mx there too. No 200 or 400. Must be a one of a kind huh?

Ok I looked it up and saw that there is a plain GeForce2MX. They did it like the Ti's. The MX200 is less than the MX which is less than the MX400. So I'd say you have a decent card.

That makes me feel better then. I bought the card last november or december and paid $159 with tv out.
