I am planning to use WinXP Pro on a computer that I will build around Christmas and it seems like I read somewhere that it doesn't support ISA devices. I figured that I would ask some people using the OS because the computer that I'm thinking of installing it in has an ISA modem and it's the best modem I've ever used, with good connection speed and very hard to knock off line. Cable and DSL are not an option, unfortunately. I have an oem copy of XP Pro coming in with a motherboard and hard drive that I ordered, so it's a legal copy. If it doesn't support ISA devices I guess that I'll use it on my main box. Thanks in advance for any help that you can give.

Here (ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/services/whql/hcl/) is the FTP site that has all Window versions HCL in plain text. If it's supported, it's in there. Download the one for your XP version.

You can also try here (http://www.microsoft.com/hcl/default.asp). This is Microsoft's default hardware compatibilty page. Might be quicker for you...
