Anyone know How do you hard sub a movie?

I got a movie with srt subtitle file. I want to put it on DVD so I can watch it from my DVD player. Is there a way I can tranfer both the movie and subtitle to the DVD or is there a way I can hard sub the subtitle in so I can transfer it to the DVD.
