hi everybody
i have a tnt m64 clocked at 150/150 core/mem... im wondering why i still have low fps in CS @800x600 res... what seems to be the problem? also, my CS is running on Direct3D mode... whenever i change it to OpenGL... it would hang... i need your thoughts on this.. thanks~

oh btw, my specs include
p/// 733, soyo 7vba133 (via698 chipset), 256mb sdr, 15gig WD 5400 HD, SB Live! Value, tnt m64 32megs... running Win98SE... i hope there's nothing wrong with the hardware

You could try reinstalling your video card Drivers to get opengl working


Regarding FPS type this in your CS console:


FPS_MAX 100 and FPS_MODEM 100


....hope you get higher framerate.

That's strange I have CS and I have a comp with almost the exact setup as yours, except for a 533 celeron processor, and it doesn't even get choppy at 1024 X 768 hmm...
