I have been using Norton anti-virus and firewall 2001 for some time now. Well my system, how do I put this kindly, drags a** while NAV is running. I have seen the light and got rid of Norton firewall and gotten Zone Alarm pro, and I want to ditch NAV, personally I am starting to really get ticked off by symantec ever since they started making people pay for virus definitions updates, I mean what the heck is anti-virus software good for if the definitions are out of date. Symantec is starting to act like Microsoft.

Anyway I am looking for a better virus protection, so let me know if you have any good, non-3rd Reich branded software.

And I will probably continue my rant in the proper "gripes and mones" section.

thanks,

fd

I'd also like to know an alternative. Although I won't switch until my 1-year subscription ends. =)

(It was only $9.95, and I NEEDED to update!)

Trend is a choice that many have made. However in early October Trend had no product for Win XP. The only game in town was NAV 2002. I am not sure about that today. You can check Trend to see if they are ready for XP or if you don't run XP you can try Trend.
