p3 866 problems - please can anyone help me?

Hello, I am running a P3 866
the problem i am having is it is running at 100mhz, but whenever i bump it up to 133, the pc stops working! can anyone give me some advice please
fsb is 133 as is the ram

Can u tell us in little more detail about your problem? How does your PC stops working at 133 fsb? It won't boot to windows?.. or does it freeze after it loaded to windows? or do you get lots of error message windows such as explorer: Illegal operation messages?.. and does your mobo suppose to support 133mhz bus?

What motherboard do you have?

Is basically all you can have is either 100 or 133?

Need to know more about your computer..

Because if you have other selections from 100 to 133 try them all out. Then you'll see your problem..

If your system freezes before loading Windows or at the loading screen means its your CPU if your computer starts giving you errors and messages in Windows then it could be heat and such... Good Luck!
