sblive 5.Xand the new bios update

i own a abit kt7a mainboard and there has been a new bios flash update which includes a program for the soundblaster live 5.X! i own a sblive player 1024 and want to know if it would be compatible (i dont know what the 5.X is!). anybody got an idea? i would love to hear it!

Here they show how to mod a S\B live generation card upto live 5.1. Thought about doin it myself but i dont have the soldering gear, but im looking for a repair shop where the techs eyes dont look like they bin smokin dope since they were 7 :) and I may give it a try, seems the H\ware is almost exactly the same just need to clear one chip and reflash i think hope this helps
