Plz Really Need Help

I have 2 hard drives:

- MAXTOR 6L040L2 (Master)

- WDC WD800BB-00CAA1 (Slave)

I check a lot of times and i think their conecction are good, and on the Bios are the 2 hd, on the Hardware Asistan of Windows are the 2 hd and it says that its no problem, but when i open My PC the second hd (WDC WD800BB-00CAA1) doesn't apper, can somebody plz tell me why, and how i can fix this ???. Tnx for the trouble...

What do you mean by "open My PC". Do you mean "My Computer"?

Right Click on "My Computer", select "Manage". Then go down to Disk Management. Find your 80GB drive there and if there is unallocated/free space, you'll need to create/format partitions.

Tank you man, i just have a question, i downloaded first the drivers for the hard drive and installed them, and i solved the problem, is there any problem i can get on a future for do it on that way?...Tnx for the trouble...
