I have a AMD K6-2 3D Now 450 Mhz. I would like to get it up in at least 500 mhz....but i have tried that (5*100; 2,4v) and it hangs in the bios startup :(
I have 2 fan's on the cpu + artic silver.
Is it to weak cooling or should i change the volt or what should i do ? I saw that many people clocked they amd k6-2 450 mhz to over 500 mhz, so it must work..

Man, Good Luck. I had a 400 and it was stubborn as a mule. I got it to post at 475, but it would only run stable at 450. I don't know if you would see a great deal of a performance increase. Don't worry, I know that's not the main goal, seeing if you can get a little bit more out of the chip is!:) It think I change some of the voltage jumpers and increased the FSB slowly, until it crapped out at 450!
