Currently I have 2x512mb sticks in 2 of my 3 dimms. I would like to upgrade to 2 gb by adding a 1 gb stick to my third dimm (I realize that I will lose most of my overclock). Can you recommend me a *cheap* 1 gb stick (PC3200) that will work with my current rig at stock speeds or better?

One question though, will I be able to run dual channel with 2x512 and a 1 gb stick (1 gig per channel)? And will I need to get a cpc off bios?

Also, my primary reason for this upgrade is to improve BF2 performance and loading speeds.

I've heard good things about this RAM:

Does this stuff work well with nforce2 motherboards?

Yes, you will lose dual channel if you add a 1 Gig stick in a third slot. I believe dual channel only works when there are identical sticks in two slots or four slots. . . . You may want to consider selling your current pair and picking up a 2x1GB kit. That's what I recently did. It allows you to run dual channel, keep the system in 1T, and also get better clockspeeds. . .

2GB should definately help with BF2. I noticed a huge difference. . . .

As for the Gskills, I've never had any myself. But I have also heard a lot of good stuff about them. . .
