Nice indeed :santa: I just happened to see CompUSA has the same card on sale for $550 this week after $100 instant savings, I thought that was pretty good, until I saw this.

I don't know about the core, but I know the memory overclocks quite a bit more. I know my XT has a bad memory controller.

I was going to jump on this but the 7900's are going to debut this week. Gonna have to use some willpower on this one.

I bought the x1900xt from dell for like $440 after taxes... They didn't ship my order yet, and seeing the rate that ATI is going, I'm going to cancel my order.

$500 for the world's best video card... ATI for the win... til nvidia whips out some smackdown! I love ati vs nv... it's so cool. :)

good deal...

It'll probably be $500000 cuz nvidia likes to rip people off... that's the feeling I get from them now. I'm beginning to dislike nvidia... they monopolized the high-end card market. They had people paying $750+ for the 7800gtx 512mb. They had people paying $650+ when the 7800gtx 256 came out... ATI comes in and asks for $500...

Maybe nvidia will start to shape up, but I'm really upset with how they jacked up prices... at the rate things are going, if nvidia charges over $600 for the 7900, I won't shop their high-end cards for some time...

I just think that the high end video card prices as a whole have gone up way too much. I don't mind paying $450 but $500+ is too rich for my blood. Lets hope that the 7900 series drives down the price of the X1900XT/XTX series down a little more. $400 for XT and $475 for XTX sound like a nice price to me! Lets hope.

For those wondering about the XT vs XTX. I have an XT right now but my card has a bum memory controller. The XT cards do not come close to overclocking the same as an XTX. So if you don't plan on overclocking, the XT is the better deal. If you plan to overclock get the XTX and spare yourself the headache.

Seems like the memory goes a bit higher on the XTX anyway.

I love nvidia vs ati as well ... gpu are going really down in price on average i read somewhere gpu will go down 100 dollars or more in a year

The only downside to all this is that when its time to sell your card on the classifieds it sells for soo much less :(
