If you do things right the chance of leakage is fairly small. Just take your time when assembling it. That's when it's most dangerous. while in use there isn't much to worry about. You might want to run it a day or two outside your computer to test it first

first off all, a commercial setup like that shouldnt leak. BUT, i wouldnt trust a gaurentee. i would run it outside of the comuter for a good day or so, and check OFTEN to make sure its not leaking. but give it extreme conditions. put the waterblock WAY up high, so the pump has to work extra hard, etc... make it work, and try to push the system harder than it will be run at in the computer.
next, use silicon RTV liquid gasket on ALL connections. even if there is a leak, this will seal it. and, its not permanent.
waterproofing componenets is a LOT of hassle really. it can be done, but there is a LOT to do. just prevent leaks all together. also, make sure you use distilled water, so even if there is a leak, it isnt going to be fatal. just use your head, and use CAUTION!

I set up my first H2O rig a couple of months back. It's like these guys have said-- take your time, be careful, and run it outside of your case for a day or two before you run it for reals.
I've had a couple of dreams where I went out to check my case and there was water everywhere. Luckily, they were just dreams. My pump has been running virtually non-stop for at least 2 months now, whether the computer has been on or off, with no leaks whatsoever. I'm not a professional but I followed the steps, and everything's ok.
Good luck.

I wouldnt worry about it
when I put my setup together I didnt even check for leaks first
I was dismantling it once to check the maze2 fittings and I got a couple of splashes of water on my mobo
nothing to worry about just dry it off and put it back together
unless you dump a bunch of water on it when its not on it shouldnt do anything but you realy need ot be carefull if you get water on anything electrical when the computer is on

do you leave the watercooling on all the time?
How is the power to it controlled?

Well the pump is powered either by one of your 4-pin 12V molex connectors in your case (If you modded it to do that) or by a surge protector or wall socket outside of your case.
If you worried about leakage you can put hose dressups (Available at auto shops) on the hoses so you can limit the areas leaking water would spill out to.
There is also some stuff you can use in conjunction with a black light or cold cathode light to show leaks, dye lite I think.

mine is a regular pump for use with an outlet (3-prong).
i spliced off the end, and put a new plug on the end. the plug does into the back of my powersupply. (my supply has a built in relay on it. so, when its on, it can supply power to another outlet.)
it works great. pump is ALWAYS on when computer is on, and doesnt go off until i flip a small switch on PSU.

the chances are small but still they are there. I did everything to mine to protect it and still damaged two video cards.

Something that's important is using quality parts.
Don't take chances with cheapo hose or any other part of your system.
I didn't like shelling out the bucks for my nice DD stuff at first, but it's worth it now. I've read some disaster stories about people with cheap hose kinking, or a cheap pump breaking down. If you're gonna go, go quality.

My stuff was off the hook but it was the condensation theat messed up the cards.

well, im slowly building my system, and so far it hasnt even seen the inside of a computer case, but it's extreme, and no leaks. you just be carefull, dont cut corners, and overdo things. this is much different than getting a $20 orb to cool your chip. this is a $100 minimum project (IMO, if you want it done RIGHT).
