Tribes 2- The final Troubleshoot

OK, I basicly bought this new comp to play games, and the coolest gae I own, Tribes 2, wont run ot it. Apparently, my sounds.vl2 file and missions.vl2 files wont copy right no matter how hard I try or will it to, and it will install correctly on my old, crappy, piece of crap computer. So, I ask you now, what is wrong with it? Anyone had this same problem?

if ABSOLUTLY nothing else works you might be able to put your old comps hard drive in yoour new one and transfer the already installed version.

i play tribes 2 alot (more then i should) and they had some trouble with this when it first came out i was a victom of it. but they do have a utility that fixes it it also check to make sure all files were not only copied from the cd but copide corectly.

i have had that same problem but my problem is it wont let me update, because the texture file is the wrong size:rolleyes:

did you upgrade to the high rez texure file??
because it checks the files against a list and if the size or content doesnt match it wont update them, so you should always backup anyfiles you change ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS.

if you didnt the only thing you can really do is reinstall and update from the begining
