I am running these on the mobo in my sig. I read somewhere that for nForce 2 boards "optimal" timing with this chipset is 2-2-2-11. Is this correct? Second question is will running this ram at 2.7 volts instead of 2.6 really do any damage?

i dont think VS can run at those tight timings iirc. as for the volts, it shouldnt hurt it as long as your case is properly cooled.

I'm only running the ram at 159mhz. I'm able to pull the timings down to 2-2-2-8 with no problems... just wondering if it's true that 2-2-2-11 is the "ideal" memory timings for nForce 2 chipset. I've tried running it 2-2-2-11 but it wouldn't boot.

Also my duron is superlocked, that's why my fsb is so low.

why not loosening the timings and increase the fsb? i ran my ram at tight timings before and then ran it at looser timings but higher fsb and noticed a significant increase in performance. as to your question, i dont think there is an ideal timing set. it depends on what setup you have.

I would increase the fsb bus but my duron is superlocked. I can't adjust the multi lower than 13.5 and if I go to 160 fsb it poops out... unless I go with 1.8+ on the vcore but I don't like the heat at that high of voltage.
