Ok. Here are my system stats.
CPU: Intel Pentium 4 3.0GHZ FSB:800
Motherboard: Abit AL8-V
HDD: Maxtor 300GB SATA1.5
VidCard: Radeon X800XL PCI-E 256MB
Memory: 1GB DDR2-667
My question is this. I use OCGuru and BIOS Settings to OC my system. I am currently at 3.55GHZ. However, My computer crashes if i set my external clock one Mhz higher than what it is at right now (237 Mhz). What could be causing this problem?
Thanks again for helping me out :)
What powersupply do you have?
What vcore are you running your chip on?
What kind of cooling do you have on your chip?
Are you doing any kind of stability testing?

I believe that i have a 450w power supply, but i will check up on that.
My vcore was autodetected to run at 1.3875v.
I have stock cooling.
I use Prime95, but i dont like leaving it on because things slow down.
My computer is actually more stable now than ever before...the cpu temp is much lower. before it ran anywhere from 50-60c. Now it's at 40c.
Thanks again for looking!!
What brand of PSU... 450W could be its max obtainable output if its a cheapo.
Do leave Prime95 running over night, also you might be maxxing out your cooling at 3.5ghz. Your cooler is the aluminum cored one and won't go for much more than 3.5-3.6.
My advice invest in a Big Typhoon, its quiet, its cheap, and its really really good. Mine with a quick lap job and a slowed down 120x38mm fan kept my 640 @ 4.26ghz with 1.65vcore in between 55-58c.
Also check the amps on your psu. Some cheaper and higher end ones sacrifice 12v power for 3.3v and 5v. You should have atleast 25a or higher on your 12v line.
