well, definately not this year, they havnt even gotten the Ti 200 series out the window completely yet. Heck!, it took me over a week to scratch a card from the boys over at Hercules. The Prophet 3 Ti 200 goes on sale this week everywhere for those of you waiting.

Anyway, as for Ti 600 specs, Simple!

300MHz Core

600MHz Ram, with all the same great GeForce 3 Ti specs!

I'm thinking, this card will hit the market sometime around April next year. This will be the end of the NV20 series.

NV25 next.

it is very easy to hit 300 core and 600 mem on a ATi Radeon 8500:p And by April most (if not all) of the driver issues will be ironed out, so watch out geforce:D

I tend to enjoy competition as I've mentioned before. Whether or not you own one or the other, chances are, you could switch in a heartbeat if the technology advances and the price is right.

ATI is not only up against an excellent driver implementation team but they are also faced with NVidia's corporate product strategy of new products every 6 months. I think AXIA's estimate of April is right on for a new card with not only a faster core and memory setup but improved memory pipelines and other assorted hardware goodies! :)

Let the competition begin! I welcome the options!

umm dude default already owns a Radeon8500 and he acieved that overclock with stock cooling....

its called high quality components, ATI has never been dissed for inferior prducts, just inferioir implementation.....you could prolly get the Ti200 to regular Geforce3 Speeds....

Why don't geforces do this?

The Atis come with 3.6ns ram and the Ti200s come with 4ns ram.....
i believe that Regular Geforce3s come with 4.0 ns ram as well (not sure), and im sure that ti500s come with 3.8ns ram
