win 98 internet sharring

Ok i know this prolly sounds kinda stupid but i am too lazy to figure it out on my own. I use win 2k however my friend uses 98 and wants me to set up his network at home and i am wondering how to set up internet sharing in 98.

from my own experience it has a mind of it's own. You simply need the WIN98 or WIN98se disk to set it up.Least I don't know of any other way to..

Go to control panel and double click
then go to add/remove programs and double click
and then for to the WINDOWS SETUP tab

Scroll down till you see the INTERNET check box
select the Internet and find the DETAILS button
click it
find and Check the INTERNET CONNECTION SHARING

click apply
reboot and pray it cooperates

Mine worked fine for awhile, then after modem went bad and I added a new one it quit working and wouldn't allow me to receive data.

I still can't use ICS so I'm hoping this weekend's upgrade to a dsl router will cure some of my difficulties.
