I was wondering, do you need a sli psu if you have an sli mobo? What if you have an sli mobo but dont use two cards, and only use one?

You don't need SLI PSU if you're only using single video card. If your PSU has enough power, you don't need an SLI certified PSU either, as the difference between SLI and non-SLI is normally just an extra PCI-E power connector.
