Well I decided to try out Lost Coast on my new 7800GT and see how much better it is than my 6800GT in the source engine. However every time I go to play it freezes up and the sound loops for about 30 seconds, then it's fine. After moving around for a couple more seconds, it freezes up for another 30 seconds and then is fine. It does this over and over and I can't figure out why!
Has anyone else had this problem before? I even tried the resolution at 1024x768 and lowest settings, no AA or AF and it's still freezing! The tech demo was playable on my 6800GT at 1152x8764 with everything on medium and low AA and AF settings. I don't understand why it's so crappy on my 7800GT though. =\
