anybody else get this?

Hey I'm MMarcdmb. I'm new to folding here at overclockers. (done it before.) I'm just using my AMD 1.4 ghz T-Bird (oced to 1.5). Does anyone else send a villian after 128/1000? I thought that was kinda weird. I've done a little folding before, but very little. Never saw it before.

First off, Welcome to the Forums and to the Team !!

I have not seen that although it looks like they are changing the frame size of the villin.

Do you have the latest version of the software ? I think it is 2.12 now. If not, try d/l'ing that and installing it. That may solve your issue.

Let us know how you make out.

I have 2.1 and if I upgrade it, will it remember where i was on villin? It spend a while on it already, and I don't wanna waste it.

Sorry, I thought you had sent that villin and had just started another.

Most likely you will lose your work and restart, so if you are deep in to a villin, just wait it out and put the new version on after it completes.

For as long as those things take, I can sympathize with not wanting to lose the work :) .

Mine freaked out the other day and I had 180/100!!!

Then it started downloading something like crazy, then it would stop, then it would download again...something about the core...

I just reinstalled, no prob. The only bad part is that this computer was getting the 1000 frame WU's and now it gets the 100. I like the 1000 ones better, feels like I am getting more done...

BTW, it was my own fault, I was pushing my computer a little too hard on the fsb...
