I was looking on newegg for a power supply for a computer I'm going to build someone. And I came across this (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817101011) It's only $50 and has really high ratings on the rails. I've never had any problems with ePower before, but I've only built one computer with it. Does anyone know anything about this power supply or the higher ones? The higher ones have similar specs.
More importantly, could it power a 7600gt and a dual core p4 90nm with 1 dvd burner and a hard drive?

It's just a crappy Topower, it'll probably power it but I wouldn't think it to be very reliable. I normally I would just recommend a Fortron BlueStorm but the dual core makes it iffy, and I also don't know what future plans you have for that system (SLI, etc.).

If you plan on SLI, then I recommend the OCZ Powerstream 520W.

If not, go for the Sytrin Nextherm (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817388003). It's pretty well recieved over at jonnyguru.com.

Lower end Topower - these in all likelihood have only one 12v rail despite what the label would have you believe. That one rail is not likely up to powering much of a P4 overclock. The cheapest single 12v unit I usually recommend for such a rig is the Sparkle FSP550PLG-SLI over at eWiz.

The OCZ PS520 (high end Topower), Silverstone Zeus ST56ZF, PC P&C 510W, and Zippy HP2-6460P are other good options for such a system.

He doesn't have very much money left to spend on the power supply, probably about $80, and it makes it alot easier if it's from newegg. I think I will get that masscool instead. It won't be overclocked very much, and he will not be going SLI, there will only be one hard drive and dvd burner.
