radeon 8500 from dell... canceled but still there

any of you who ordered the radeon 8500 did you all get the email saying it would cancel if no reply or phone call was received by such and such day? well, i did and let mine 'cancel' yet dell refused to change its status from 'inproduction' on their website... not complaining as ill take the card if it shows up, but i think this is sketchy business at best... anyone else run into this?

Nope, still waiting for my. Estimated shipped date is 11/8 but I'm sure I'll be getting a phone call saying it will not ship for another month.

They told me 11/8 so I replied to that email saying not to cancel. Then it said 12/8 so I said *!@* it and sent an email saying please cancel. So I hope it did go through. *******s.

Well what do you know, a lady from Dell just called. It will not be until 11/29. I'm going out of town this week and will not be back until next week, but when I return I'm just going to order from pricewatch. I saw some retail version for around 250 bucks. I'll pay extra 50, sick of waiting from Dell.

i would go and buy from store, but im so confused by now. since i didnt respond, my order should have cancelled. maybe theyll send it to me anyways and i can get all over them about not cancelling it. maybe i can even get a free card lol. seriously though, i wish they would take my card out of 'inproduction' and cancel it. i dont wanna wait that long...
