pc3200 is basically ddr400 (which is ddr1). DDR2 is a totally differant type of ram then ddr1. It will not fit on the same boards.... AMD socket 939 doesn't support ddr2. If you want amd and ddr2 then you'll have to wait till september'ish for there next socket called am2.

As to your question, i would probably pick up a set of TCCD if you want 2x512mb.... or if you want 2gb then i'd go for some ddr500 g.skills or something.

isnt DDR 500 ..DDR2?
Nope.
For example:

I don't think DDR2 comes in a 500 flavor. AFAIK it comes in 400, 533, 667, etc.

DDR1 is totally different than DDR2. (It's like the difference between AGP and PCI-e) Your motherboard does not run DDR2, it can't.

As for ram, if your going to overclock, get something around the DDR500 range. Depending on your budget some kits will hit 260mhz and expensive ones come close to 300mhz.

G.Skill is pretty hot now-a-days. They have a DDR500 2gb kit for pretty cheap. You might check it out at Newegg.

It would depend on my budget, if I had to choose between getting DDR500 memory or investing extra 50$ in a video card the later option would win.
