I was reading about this pump. And IF it does what all it says it would be great, but the price is nuts.

Hi.
Would just like to add that there are a lot of hapiness with this pump also
I have just bought this pump and It's faboulous. It's quit, high performing, good looking..? (yeah right, I have no case window, But its nice to look at anyway)
I'm writing this to give Asetek a little credit, because my pump also has a little defect. It's working, but Asetek had a bad batch or two and I got one of the pumps with a fault on the grounding wire.
I just recently installed the pump and during the installation I discovered that my cooling heads for the chipset and VGA had developed cracks. These are more than 1,5 years old. But I would expect a little longer lifespan.
I reported the discoverings I made to Asetek through their support ticket system on their web site. They replied "semi-promptly" (This happened during the recently held Cebit conference where a great part of Asetek staff attended so one weeks overall response time is OK by me)
I'm instructed to send in my defect cooling heads and my pump, if I really needed to use the grounding wire (which I don't)
So my bottom line is that it's not all bad this pump/reservoir combo rocks OK. Of course I would have preferred not to have problems like th etwo I just described. But as long as I'm not "left alone" by the manufacturer I'm satisfied. I'm not saying this because I have any relationship with Asetek except that we both reside in beautiful Denmark :)
Maxium head is only 240cm (just under 8 feet). That's a bit low for a high-end system. I suggest tracking down the P-Q curve before you buy.
