i have a ? about a networking problem

the problem is i can't get ics to work on two winME machines the host is a compaq with just a dedicated dial up connection and the single client computer is the one in my sig the nics are both the D-link ones from best buy for $5 really a steal for what they are also i can't print from the client computer but the thing is though is i can share files back and forth with no problem i'v got tcp/ip enabled and the correct ip and subnet also have ipx/spx and ics configured right i think :( so i guess if anyone has any ideas or experience with this kind of problem it would be a great help

another thing do i have to put in ip addresses in the ics protocol or not also why are there no bindings for my modem and nic in ics i used home networking wizard to set it up so i dunno

i cant beleive noone has told you yet but uh well WinME sucks
i used it for 6 months and after 6 hard drive crashes and hundreds of software and harware problems i converted to 2Kpro and using the same hard drive and hardware i never had a problem (until my friggin heat sink mounting bracket on the socket broke and ejected my heatsink into the side of my case, it left i cool dent too. but with the cpu overheating the cpu fried and the HD heads took a dive and scratched the platters in my HD :( :mad: so that ****ed me off really bad
