Hello, I would like some advice. I am looking at buying a new rad. Looking at either the black ice pro or the Black IceŽ Pro XFlow . I want a single fan rad but am running silenX 120's on it (2- in push pull config.) I now have a heater core from DD but hear that these fans are not that great for it. I'm mainly looking for quiteness and maybe OC later. Which rad is better for the fans I am running and what is the difference between the 2. Or is there a better radiator than the ones I am looking at for my setup. BTW I have a D5 pump.

Also, a question of curiosity. If I took a water block and a 80 watt peilter, put the block inline somewhere on my tubing. Then take the peilter and put the cold side on the block and a heatsink on the hotside. Would it effectivly cool the water inplace of a radiator?? I know this is not the extreme cooling forums but I'm just curious if it would work.

Thx for the time.

Either BIP should do fine they are great for low cfm fans.

Also, I would not recommend using the peltier/hsf method, heat sinks just can't handle the heat of a pelt. Now, if you hooked up another waterblock to that pelt with another loop and a rad with it, then you might be in luck, but otherwise, I doubt it would work.
