well in my sig, i have a celeron overclocked from 900 to 1.2, but i have one stick of 128 megs of 100 mhz fsb Ram, and the other 2 are 133 mhz , if i try to bump the fsb of my cpu up to even 137 mhz i cant even post, would that one stick of Ram be holding me back ??

i think that its the stick of ram. or maybe a cpu overheat or not enough voltage going to the cpu. can u give us info on those areas.

blah, i cant even remeber the voltage, but the temps under load are around 27 C , well right now its cold outside i and i have my window open. so its kinda low

ur temps are good. try taking the pc100 stick out and play a game or something. if it doesnt crash then its the pc100 stick holdin u back. if it still crashes then its ur voltage.

Yea, I tend to agree... just try pulling that one stick of ram and see what happens. If things stabilize a bit, try ocing it a little higher and see if it's stable there. That should give you a pretty good idea wether it's heat or the ram.
As mentioned pull the stick of ram and see if you can hit it..

As mentioned above, pull the pc100 stuff. If that does it, you can get quality ram for cheap nowdays to replace the pc100 stick.
256 PC-133 ram is only 35 dollars canadian... See if you can get PC-150 it'll help alot.

yeah im gonna have to do that when i get time to take my pc apart, been realy busy lately, but ill do it, hehe i have half of a new system sitting next to me, an athlon 1.4, a new mobo and 512megs of pc2100 ddr, im giving this one to my dad when i get my new one built but would like to get a few more mhz outta it.
Same thing held me back! Ditch the pc100! Good luck!
I think the speeds of the bus are too much for that PC-100...
