BF2 Problem

Well, yesterday I put in an Audigy 2 sound card. After some problems, and reinstalling windows, I was finally able to use my comp again. The cool part was, all of my old stuff was there, nothing was deleted. So today, I tried to play BF2. After clicking the desktop icon, the screen goes black, like its going to start, but stays black. I ctrl alt delete, and there is a box that says "Error!" but I cant get to it or anything to see the error. Does anyone know a fix?

if u reinstalled windows and ur stuff is still there, id guess that you would have to reinstall or repair (if u can) the game. just reinstall it. dont take long. and dont forget your patchs!

A reinstall and especially a repatch should work. i had the same issue and all i did was re-apply the basic 1.21 patch and it worked fine.
