I was thinking of upgrading my PSU to accommodate the ATX12V requirements this motherboard supports. My understanding of it is found here (http://www.formfactors.org/developer%5Cspecs%5CATX12V_PSDG_2_2_public_br2.pdf )
I understand if I go ATX12V shopping it must be the lastest which is version 2.2 (currently this could change without notice). My question is will this help the entire MB (ram, Video Card, fans, etc) or just the CPU?

I believe the form factor your talking about only has a native 4-pin 12v cpu power connectore. P5WD boards are native 8-pin cpu power connector. ESP12 has the 8pin 12v connector, or you could just get a 4pin-8pin converter like I did for my PC Power & Cooling 510.

Make sure the PSU you get has the 8-pin 12v cpu connector and the 24pin MB connector.
