Hey, just wondering what your guys/gals thoughts are on All in One internet secruity packages. I know a lot of people are thinking "why not just get two separate programs" Well to answer that I don't want two apps right now so please do not recommend that. Ok well so far I have tried ZoneAlarms all in one package and really liked the firewall. Though the antivirus was pretty much worthless from what I saw. I next tried AVGs package and it was all around average program in my mind. Next I tried PC-cillins which seemed excellent in both a firewall and virus areas, though it did not give me enough options so I wanted to try something else (though even without options it performed perfectly.) So I am now trying Kaspersky, and noticed with real time protection at recommended lvl I am at a constant 27% cpu usage. So I lowered that to no protection and it seems to have fixed the usage issue. Though I am wondering if there is anything else out there that is worth trying. As it stands right now, I think I may switch back to PC-Cillin though I will see how Kasperky turns out. Thanks for any suggestions.

I would recommend trying NOD32

Was under the impression Nod32 was just an anti-virus, if that is not the case though then I will deffinatly give it a try.

For yourself, there is only one thing: brain 1.0
Everything else is just a bandaid. For people like dads, mums and granny's: they barely understand how AV works and only use it properly if it can seemlessly autoupdate all the time. Anything more complicated than the default windows firewall is useless for them, since they just don't know what to do when their new Skype produces a dialog (or 10) from the firewall. They don't understand what the dialog means and can't maske a rational, proper decision about it.
Not to mention that at least personal firewalls do not work: ALL of them can be bypassed if you run as admin under windows, unless the firewall runs on another computer.

personaly I like kaspersky but as an antivirus only, I havent realy tried the kaspersky anti-hacker yet, but they do offer an internet security suite which I guess you are already using. PC-Cillin 2005 is a very goot security suite, I used it my self and I realy like it. Kaspersky does occupy resources but for me everything runs fast and no complaints.

Klingens can you link to Brain 1.0?
Thanks for the suggestions everyone, it finally reclicked in my head that there is no need for an all in one security app. So I am using ZA security suite (remembered I had a suscription left) and Antivir PE. So far I am actually really like the AntiVir GUI though I do wish it had more options for free it seems very nice compared to the others. (skips the non sense details) As for Nod32 I am still going to try it a littel later this week because it could be a good fix for some of my friends PCs who don't know how to take care of their current security solutions. Anyway thanks again to everyone.
