View Full Version : case temps!!! mini-hulk OR mini-oven?
at full load my system temps are about 30c, and ambient air is 23c. I'm starting to worry that my mini-hulk computer case is slowly evolving into a mini-oven! At what temperature does a system start to cook?
nah I wouldn't even worry until it hits 45 or so, then it might affect how well you can overclock. BUt I've seen badly ventilated store bought systems where the system temp wa 60 C and it still hummed along fine.

I'd agree with Monster Of Rock. Your doing better than most systems I've seen :)

Your heatsink can only cool your CPU to X number of degrees above room ambiant. If you lower case temps each degree will go directly to CPU temps. My case stays under 2c of room temp.
