Probably this weekened I'll have an SLI setup, as I have a card coming from these forums and a VF700 from NewEgg as well.

Is there anything I need to know before the card arrives? I know I need to flip that circuitboard between the PCI-E slots around and put the PCI-E bridge in place to connect both cards. Am I missing anything important?

Nope.. just be prepared to reboot to enable SLI with the gfx drivers when they prompt you with what you want to do with the cards.

That's the only difference between the "hot wired" A8N-SLI and the "native" A8N-SLI Premium? I was suspectful that it had more options in the BIOS or something.

One more question. Do both cards have to be running the same BIOS revision?

yea both have to be the same.

Okay. So I remove the current card, put the new card in and check the BIOS. If it's different, I flash it to the same one as my current card and then install both cards for SLI?

You are correct they do not have to, they did with the older drivers. I wood recamend they have the same BIOS just to pervent a conflict.
