I'm running win XP on a new setup: I bought an ASUS a7n8x delux and used my athlon 2400xp-mobile. At times it will crash and reboot but it goes to fast for me to read the blue screen. Had some memory from a older system (2)PMI pc2700 turbo dual chan 256mb(total) 2-2-2-5. (1)OCSystem pc3200 256mb 3-3-3-8.
Was wondering if my problem might be the memory. Any help and advice will be greatly appreciated.

try running just the dual channel n see if it happens
Like redrmy3 said, try removing the 256mb PC3200 stick and see if that works. I think since the ram is coming from two different companies and is rated for entirely different speeds its causing some issues.

Thanks I'll try. It's probally better to keep the same speed more so than the same brand?
