Lets say you have an application that is an installation (inside of windows), and when you are installing it, you exit the program.

So now the installation is incomplete.

So since there is no unistallation, you are boned.

Heres why.

When i open up that installation, it freezes every time, saying that i dint complete the installation correctly.

So This is one of those situations where you need to delete your system memory of even installing that program, i have alrready deleted all traces of that program, but i still get that error.

So i think i need to open some file under Mycomputer/management, somethign like that and delete my cookies or something.

So does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.

I'd check the regsitry for any traces of the software.

start -> run -> regedit

What OS are you using? If it XP then the easiest way would be a system restore to a point before you first tried to install the program.

Is this harmful?

Will it delete everything i have installed in the time between??

Basically it will make your computer exactly as it was at the time of whatever restore point you choose. So if you installed anything that you want to keep between installing the offending application and now then yes it will get lost.
